The Regional Innovation Valleys (RIVs), as part of the Horizon Europe Framework Programme and in line with the New European Innovation Agenda, aim to involve less developed regions by creating open, inclusive and efficient connections, and building on strategic areas of economic strength and specialisation, as defined the Smart Specialisation Strategy.
