The Islands & Small States Institute (ISSI) of the University of Malta invites postgraduate students, alumni and academics to the 1st Postgraduate Conference in Islands and Small States Studies. The event will be held on 20 June 2022, between 9am and 6pm, at the University of Malta’s Valletta Campus and is being co-organised with the Institute for Tourism Travel & Culture, and with the support of the Doctoral School of the University of Malta, the Malta Tourism Authority and the University of Malta Conferences and Events Unit.
This Conference provides Master’s and PhD students with a unique opportunity to present their research ideas and results, exchange information and network with fellow colleagues, all in a dynamic and stimulating environment, where excellent scholars will provide constructive feedback to ongoing research.
Register now via the online form and join postgraduate students, alumni and scholars. Those who wish to present their research need to submit their abstracts by 9 May via the registration form. Communication about acceptance for the oral or poster presentation will be announced by 16 May.
