The Universidad de Murcia is offering under public call 20 Pre-doctoral contracts for Phd Students (R1) for the 2020/2021 academic year. The applicants should be admitted or eligible to be admitted in a Doctorate Programme at the University of Murcia during the 2020/2021 academic year, since, in the event of the interested party being contracted, he/she must be registered on the relevant Doctorate Programme.
The applicant must be accepted by the Research Director, who may be any Doctor member of the teaching and research staff, permanently or indefinitely linked to the Universidad de Murcia through public service or labour, or hired through the Ramón y Cajal Programme, or Director of the applicant’s Doctoral Thesis. Acceptance must be by means of validating the application on PAGINAv3.
This call for applications is made for two contract modality groups:
a. Modality A): In regard to pre-doctoral contracts for research within the scope of a new, specific project in any field of fundamental or applied, scientific, technical, humanistic or artistic field.
b. Modality B): In regard to pre-doctoral contracts for research within the scope of a new, specific project on subjects of specific interest for public or private entities with a high transference capability of the results produced through the research.
Fifteen (15) contracts will be assigned to Modality A. Five (5) contracts will be assigned to Modality B. Any contracts not assigned under Modality B may be transferred to the number initially envisaged for Modality A.
This call covers the enrollment/registration taxes as well the possibility to access to grants for short stays in foreign countries.
What is funded
An annual salary of 17.041 euros for the first and second year, 18.258 euros for the third year, and 22.283 euros for the fourth year.
These contracts are to extend for a maximum of 4 years and at least 12 months. Beginning expected at November 2020.
